Intercept: DNC Leadership Kills Resolution to Ban Arms Sales to Israel - The party has lost touch with its Gen Z up and coming supporters. Apparently it wants to continue to support the 21st century holocaust, genocide, apartheid and crime against humanity. It is a slowly dying party run by egg-head Clinton-ite triangulists.
In the 2024 election, Trump won by 1.5% of popular votes cast (2.3M), 77.3M Trump - 75M Harris. Another 77.3M voters sat out the election - about 31.6% of the voting-eligible population, a much larger percentage than most elections. That many voters felt that neither candidate would make any difference in their daily lives.
During the primaries 'Uncommitted' voters delivered the message that the loss of their votes could affect the general election. The DNC failed to heed that message. Then they lost the general election. Probably 100,000 voters in Michigan and 20% of voters in Minnesota stayed home solely because of this issue - and there is no way to know how many other non-voters stayed home in the other 48 states. Obviously the party is more interested in dollars than votes. After all, the Dems receive more financial support during years when republicans are in power.
The fact that not only was the Democratic convention not going to change their platform, but would not even allow a pro-Palestinian speaker mount the podium spoke volumes to poorly represented minorities.
The Democratic party should be courting Gen Z, not driving them off. As long as the party takes this position, they will continue to become more and more insignificant.
